How we made it smarter
Twenty Large Murals and One Sixty Footer
Near Southside has historically been a place for working artists to live and hone their craft. As the neighborhood gentrifies, the Maverick team was intent on finding a way for new developments to be enhanced by, and give back to, the demographic that made the area so desirable in the first place.
In addition to the 20 local artists that were selected by a committee of local stakeholders to paint 5’x12’ murals along each side of the building, a 21st mural was commissioned from artist Erik Inkala. His mural stretches from the ground level to the roof on the Northwest corner, making it the tallest mural in Tarrant County.
Dwelo Smart Home Integration
Every unit at Mag & May is equipped with Kwikset smart locks, Honeywell smart thermostats, and Z-wave enabled smart lights. Whether you’re unlocking your front door and turning on lights before you even get out of the car or turning lights off and locking up while you’re out to dinner, Dwelo’s system makes it easy.
A mural that is as big as this is becomes a beacon.
You can see it a mile down the street.
